Over the past two weeks we managed our up version to 4.26 with almost no hiccups. I helped oversee the change while Cameron and Ben took point with up versioning the project and some re-organization of the file structure. Seth was also on point to swap out the versions when needed. After the up version I worked on and completed the remodel of the tire in the tire swing it looks much better and is much more of a hero asset. I also looked into comparing the LOD systems in Speedtree and Unreal Engine, while Speedtree offers more variety and detail it does require one to model the LODs which is fine for closer assets and unique assets while Unreal Engine offers a more uniform and automatic process which suits repeat assets and foliage much better. I will go forward with Unreals LODs as they are native and better integrated and will allow for a more streamlined process. Over the next two weeks I will do one more remodel this time of the trash cans as they appear on the paths more and will get closer, I will also finish my last two trees and do some level versioning for the various park sets and some landscape manipulation as well as getting Unreal LODs for the trees added.
